In February, 2021, The Center for Cooperative Media announced reporting awards to 15 news organizations. Alum Katrina Janco (C'19), a reporter for the NJPen online community newspaper, won a stipend to “examine how Camden can bridge the digital divide for good and without depending on the inconsistent goodwill of outside businesses and nonprofits.” These awards are supported by funding from the New Jersey Children’s Foundation.
