Live at the Writers House: VoteThatJawn
A monthly radio show produced in collaboration with WXPN
hosted by Alli Katz
Join us Monday, January 19, at 6:30 PM for a recording of LIVE at the Writers House, a long-standing collaboration of the people of Kelly Writers House and WXPN (88.5 FM). This recording of LIVE at the Writers House will feature the stories, experiences, and thoughts of young voters working with #VoteThatJawn, an organization that works to bring young voters to the polls. Guests will include KAMRYN DAVIS, Philly Regional Organizer of PA Youth Vote, writer ERINDA SHENO, who worked the polls as an undergrad; UPenn students; a panel of high schoolers; and the musical stylings of the Drexel University Jazztet. More special guests pending!
VOTETHATJAWN
Using the power of youth voice and connection, #VoteThatJawn aims to bring 18-year-olds and other first-time voters to the polls—beginning a process toward full civic engagement—not just for a charismatic candidate, but to advocate for youth safety, agency, and inclusion.
