Penn Creative Writing alum Isabel J. Kim's (C'18) debut novel Sublimation has been acquired by Tor in a major three-book deal. The television rights have been optioned by Universal International Studios.
About Sublimation:
A literary speculative thriller set in a version of our world where "instancing" splits a person into two distinct copies when they cross a country's border: one who moves and one who remains. When a woman who left returns to Seoul and must face her other self, her childhood friend's New York self draws her into a conspiracy to control the future of instancing, bringing both versions of him back into her life with global repercussions.
Congratulations Isabel!
