Last week the Kelly Writers House kicked off its spring Fellows series with a two-day visit from musician and writer Patti Smith. As well as giving two public appearances to capacity audiences, Smith joined the 22 students in the Kelly Writers House Fellows seminar for a wide-ranging conversation about writing, creative practice, and forging a life devoted to art.
