Join Peabody Award-winning podcast host and scholar Chenjerai Kumanyika for a discussion of his podcast, Empire City, which tracks the origins of the NYPD to reveal truths about what law enforcement means in America today. Kumanyika will be in conversation with Matt Katz, a Peabody Award-winning journalist who created and hosted the autobiographical podcast Inconceivable Truth and is now the executive producer of the City Cast Philly podcast. Katz teaches journalistic writing in the Creative Writing Program at Penn.
