RACHEL TASHJIAN is the Fashion Features Editor at GARAGE Magazine, an art and fashion biannual that was acquired by Vicein 2016 and recently launched a very exciting website (garage.vice.com). Previously, she was Associate Director of Communications and Contributing Style Editor at Vanity Fair, and has written for New York Magazine, Elle, Lenny Letter, and, because they didn't have to pay her anything extra, Vanity Fair. She will discuss the importance of building a voice online, the challenges and thrills of finding a job as a "writer," and the art of making friends in the media (fake news, fake friends!).
