Beth Kephart memoir, “Wife | Daughter | Self,“ debuts March 2

Creative Writing faculty Beth Kephart’s latest memoir, Wife | Daughter | Self debuts on March 2nd. The book — which asks such questions as How do we love over time, and through heartbreak?   — received a starred review in Booklist.

  • March 3, 2021, 7:30 PM EST: Free Library of Philadelphia Launch of Wife | Daughter | Self: Beth Kephart in conversation with actress/exquisite writer/exemplary reader Jacinda Barrett. Information/registration here.
  • March 14, 2021, 3 PM EST: Six Books, One Essay, and One Poem that Shaped My Thinking About Memoir, a Juncture Workshop featuring a conversation with my editor, Laura Stanfill. This workshop will be offered for $1.00 with proof-of-purchase of Wife | DaughterSelf: You can purchase it here. (Our intention was to make this a free workshop but PayPal will not accept a zero dollar amount during checkout). Four of my own handmade books will be given to four randomly chosen participants.
