Beth Kephart

Beth Kephart is a National Book Award finalist, a Pew Fellowships in the Arts grant winner, a National Endowment for the Arts grant recipient, a Leeway Grant winner, and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts grant winner, among other honors; the author of nearly 30 books in multiple genres (memoir, middle grade novels, young adult novels, picture books, a corporate fairytale, an autobiography of a river); and a co-founder of Juncture Workshops. Her personal essays appear in (or will soon appear in) publications such as The New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Life magazine, Ninth Letter, The Normal School, North American Review, Catapult, Creative Nonfiction, Brevity, Millions, and elsewhere. Two new novels for middle-grade readers will be launched in 2020. A memoir-in-essays, Wife | Daughter | Self, will be published in 2021, as will two picture books.
