Beth Kephart

Beth Kephart is a National Book Award finalist, a Pew Fellowships in the Arts grant winner, a National Endowment for the Arts grant recipient, a Leeway Grant winner, and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts grant winner, among other honors; the author more than three dozen books in multiple genres (memoir, middle grade novels, young adult novels, picture books, a corporate fairytale, an autobiography of a river); and a co-founder of Juncture Workshops. Her personal essays appear in publications such as The New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Life magazine, Ninth Letter, The Normal School, North American Review, Catapult, Creative Nonfiction, Brevity, Millions, and elsewhere. She is at work on a variety of collaborative projects with her artist husband.
