Christy Davids

Christy Davids is a poet and a teacher. Some of her creative and critical work can be found at VOLTOpen House, PennSound, BedfellowsJacket2DusieThe Tiny, and the Poetry Foundation’s Harriet, among others. She is the author of three chapbooks: on heat (2017) published by BOAAT Press; Dysphoric Geography (2019) published by Neighboring Systems; and wanton (2020) published by DoubleCross Press. In August 2023 Christy was an artist-in-residence at Millay Arts. Her work and teaching explore the literature of place, formal experimentation, gender, genre hybridity, disaster poetics, and ekphrasis.
